We currently have some delicious Blackface Mutton available on our Butchers counter. Our flock of Blackface Sheep are grazed on our own nearby hill farm at Ingleston. They graze the same rough pasture as our Belted Galloway’s and are allowed to mature slowly to produce a delicate meat that’s sweet, tender and full of flavour with marbling throughout the joint. To achieve a really tender joint we mature for a minimum of two weeks.
