December 2011
One good side to being a farmer with a farm shop is that there is no end to the variation in jobs that need to be done. Today I have been trying to mount a tree on top of a 6 metre pole on the back of the tractor as an advert for our Christmas trees.
Since it is our first year and nobody knows we sell turkeys and Christmas trees we need to make a special effort to get the message out. In line with our general philosophy we have been able to source really good trees locally and we can offer them at very competitive prices. The Nordman fir is the well known one that doesn’t lose its needles. We can also offer the Fraeser fir which is a slower growing tree, very thick and bushy, and gives off a lovely fragrance when it is in a warm atmosphere. Whatever you chose have a great Christmas..
