Farmers aren’t always complaining!
I attach two pictures taken on our hill this week when the weather was just idyllic. One sensible, or lucky, Blackie ewe has just delivered twin lambs and they are enjoying the sunshine. We hope to have a ewe and lambs down to Kilnford next week once the lambs are strong enough to move with the trailer. Our Beltie bullocks have been outside all winter and have had less hay and silage compared to normal. They are now finding some green shoots among the shelter of the whins and trees and will hopefully not need any more feed this winter.
