Get close to the land – Enjoy Kilnford’s Nature Trail
For those who wish to work up an appetite before visiting Kilnford Kitchen, we recommend a stroll through our Nature Trail where you can see our Belted Galloways and Blackface sheep, stopping at the bird hide to enjoy the wildlife on the pond and then moving on to find the Secret Garden, where the younger members of the family will love exploring inside the willow hedgehog. Everybody will be fascinated by the Criss Cross Hut. This is a log structure with the roof constructed using a natural building concept of every branch relying on every other branch to support the structure.
This is a concept we would like to adopt as our ethos, where every member of staff at Kilnford is an essential part of the team structure, working together to make the customer experience special. It also graphically demonstrates the interdependence of nature and the importance of realizing how much we all rely on each other in the food production chain.
