We’re proud that all our pork at Kilnford continues to be locally sourced right here in Dumfries & Galloway.

For many years, we raised our own outdoor reared pigs at Kilnford Farm. However, due to the recent challenges facing the pig industry, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close our own herd. After thoughtful consideration, we are now sourcing our pigs weekly from the Shaw family at Dryfeholm, Lockerbie – trusted farming friends who share our high standards and values.

We’re confident that the pork we now bring to your plate is every bit as exceptional as what we’ve always offered at Kilnford.

Our skilled butchers cure all our ham and bacon on site, using traditional methods and no added water — which is why so many of our customers notice it doesn’t shrink in the pan and tastes just the way good pork should.
