Isle of Mull is a hard pressed, cloth bound cheddar known for its strong, sharp, and fruity flavour with a slightly boozy or yeasty hint due to the cows being fed spent grain from a local distillery. It’s a full-bodied cheddar with a complex taste that includes savoury and tangy notes, and a moist, soft texture.
